Edward J. Reydak, Jr. age 79, of Conneaut passed away on December 30, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.
Ed was born on September 23, 1944, in Conneaut, the son of Edward J. and Anna Minch Reydak, Sr. He graduated from Rowe High School. Ed worked for many years at the former Union Carbide Linde Wire Division and later retired from ESAB in 2000 after several years in the Maintenance Department. Ed was also the co-owner and operator of E&E Specialty Auto with his son Edward III.
Ed was a hot rod and car enthusiast and especially loved his ‘49 Mercury of all his cars. He enjoyed going to car shows and sock hops over the years with his wife and family. Ed was also a very good carpenter and home remodeler. He was a member of the Conneaut Moose Lodge and the FinHeads Car Club.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law James “Jim” McCloskey.
He is survived by his wife Mary “Sis” (Anderson) Reydak, whom he married June 25, 1966, children Edward J. “Eddie” and Melissa Reydak III, Michele “Shelley” and Frank Telesznicky, grandchildren Anna Reydak, Chelsea and Justin Fuller, Halie Reydak, great grandchildren Emmalyn Reydak, Emerson Reydak and Natalina Fuller, mother-in-law Alvera Anderson, sisters Cynthia McCloskey, Cheryl and Ronald Hawes and numerous nieces and nephews.
At Ed’s request no services will be held.
